Principal’s Message Eco-Schools Grant
On Monday, the Environment Minister, the Honourable Gabrielle Upton, visited Thurgoona Public School to
announce the school’s successful application for an Eco-Schools Grant. The school will partner with the
NSW Office of Environment and Heritage and Charles Sturt University to undertake field studies that will
improve the habitat for the endemic and vulnerable Sloane’s Froglet within the school grounds.
The P&C Continue to Offer Support
I am extremely grateful that the P&C have donated $15,000 toward upgrading technology. The donation will
be used to purchase additional computers for classrooms. The school will match the contribution to enhance
access to technology at the school.
Please support our P&C and in particular fundraising events that make donations such as this possible.
