Auger, TXD (Dirt) Series

Specifications:

This series of Augers has a bolt on shank plate design. Standard flighting on Terex® Texoma TXD Series digger derrick augers are as follows:

5/16” thick for 30” diameter and smaller

1/2” thick for diameter larger than 30”

Auger stem is 3 3/4 inch O.D. tubing. Standard components are TX50 (PN 2429471) and TX52 (PN 2429429) teeth and TX205 (PN 29665) pilot bit.

Application:

Terex® Texoma TXD Series digger derrick dirt augers are manufactured to maximize the drilling performance of digger derricks, for loose and compacted soils, stiff clays and soft shales. The optional TX50D pilot bit (PN 2429167) greatly enhances the performance of the TXD Series auger.

Auger, TXC (Carbide) Series

Specifications:

This series of Augers has a bolt on shank plate design. Standard flighting on Terex® Texoma TXC Series digger derrick augers are as follows:



Auger stem is 3 3/4 inch O.D. tubing. Standard components are TX56 (PN A029225) and TX58 (PN A029400) carbide teeth and TX205C (PN 29665) pilot bit.

Application:

Terex® Texoma TXC Series Derrick dirt augers are manufactured to maximize the drilling performance of digger derricks, for loose and compacted soils, stiff clays, shales, cobbles, and medium rock strata. The optional TX50C pilot bit (PN 85889) greatly enhances the performance of the TXC Series auger.

This series of Augers has a bolt on shank plate design. Standard flighting on Terex® Texoma TXCS-Series digger derrick carbide rock augers are as follows:

Specifications:

Standard flighting on Terex® Texoma TRA Series digger derrick augers have a 1” lower flight section, hardfaced, combined with upper flighting as follows:



Auger stem is 3 3/4 inch O.D. tubing. Standard teeth are TRT1(PN 2416844) & TWT2 (PN A510184) carbide blade teeth with a TPB-6 (PN 16845) carbide pilot bit. All Terex® Texoma blade series teeth and 2 3/8 inch API Texoma pilot bits will interchange with this series of drilling tools.

Application:

Terex® Texoma TRA Series digger derrick rock augers are designed and manufactured to maximize the drilling performance of digger derricks in hard rock formations. The Texoma® TRA Series digger derrick rock auger is best suited for solid (non-fracturable) formations in medium to hard drilling conditions.

The Terex® Texoma Bullet Tooth Auger (BTA) is designed specifically to optimize the drilling performance of digger derricks in hard, fracturable material such as limestone, lava, backfill material as well as cobbles and boulder type drilling conditions. Specifications:

Texoma® Spiral Bullet Tooth Auger (BTA) is manufactured with 1 inch Lower Flighting and 1/2 inch Upper Flighting . It has a replaceable pilot bit, 65343336TU, with hex shank. Drills hard materials that conventional augers cannot. It is available from stock in diameters of 9 inches to 36 inches.

Features:

Texoma® digger derrick core barrel, extendable pilot & auger combinations are available in a range of diameters. The auger comes with a bolt-on, hex pilot which, when removed, allows it to accept the core barrel and extendable pilot bit options while keeping the auger on the machine, thus saving valuable time in the field.

The extendable pilot used with the barrel allows for an easy start and provides additional stability in extremely hard rock or out-of-level surfaces.
