1. Introduction

This document is targeted to administrators. It has the purpose to describe the functionalities for TCP installing on a Sharepoint

Online environment.

2. Prerequisites

• The administrator who want to set up TCP must be tenant administrator because the site collection administrator

does not have sufficient rights.

• The “Teorema Collaboration Portal” app must be installed on the same site where you want to set up the TCP.

• The Site Collection must be a publishing portal.

• Scripting capabilities must be turn on. Click here for details.

3. Installing

In this section the actions that allow you to set up rightly TCP are described.

3.1 App Catalog

If you have an app catalog site already installed, you can skip 3.1. The needed steps for app catalog installing are described

below:

• Navigate to Admin section from your tenant (https://<tenantname>admin.sharepoint.com)

• Navigate to App Catalog

• Create a new App Catalog website

3.2 Installing the app

• Download the full-trust app from link

• Unzip the app

• Upload the app on the site collection

o Navigate to Admin section from your tenant (https://<tenantname>admin.sharepoint.com)

o Navigate to app catalog and click on “Apps for Sharepoint”

o Select the “Teorema Collaboration Portal” app

• Navigate to the site where you want to set up the TCP

• Select “Add an app”

• Select “Teorema Collaboration Portal” app

• Click on “Trust” – then a browser window will appear.

3.3 TCP Installing

• Navigate to the site

• Navigate to “Teorema Collaboration Portal” app

• Navigate to “Install” section

• Click on “Start” button for starting the TCP Installing.

When the setup process finished the following actions will be available:

• View log details

• Download log details

• Personalize your TCP

• View your TCP



4. TCP Configuration

4.1 Customization

In the customization page the following sections are available:

• Design UI: allows you to select the apps colors, navigation menu color and the background

• Settings: allows you to enter the TCP license key, only visible to a tenant admnistrator.

The Design UI section is showed in this way:

The Settings section allows you to enter or modify the TCP license key:

It’s possible to navigate to this section in two different ways:

• Click on “Personalize your TCP” button visible in the app when the setup process is finished.

• Click on “Personalize your TCP” link visible on the administrative menu (only for administrators) in the left side of the

TCP home page.

In the side menu there are other three sections manageable by the administrator and they are the following:

• News: allows you to navigate to Sharepoint list News to manage the news section visible on the right column of the

home page. This link is visible to users with editing rights on News list;

• My Apps: allows to navigate to Sharepoint list My Apps to customize the apps and their link. This section is visible on

the middle column of the home page. This link is visible to users with editing rights on My App Link list;

• Announcement: allows to navigate to Sharepoint list Announcement to manage announcement section visible on the

header of the Home Page. This link is visible to users with editing rights on Announcement list.

4.2 Navigation settings

The navigation settings are set to “Structural Navigation” per default. It’s possible to change them and select the “Managed

Navigation”.

You could manage this customization via Site Settings in the section Look and Feel clicking on Navigation.

5. Uninstall TCP

From 15 days before the end of the trial period when you access to TCP Home you see a pop-up for warning of the expiring

period and if you are a tenant administrator you will see the following actions:

• Contact Teorema by email

• Enter your license key

• Uninstall TCP

If you decide to uninstall TCP the site would be restored by removing all of the dedicated structures, lists and image renditions,

and resetting the master and the welcome page. All of the files inside the folder Teorema in the document library “Master Page

Gallery” are not removed. The master and the page layout identified by TCP prefix are also not removed. As long as there are

the subsites in which the TCP has been installed, those files cannot remove. It is possible to remove them manually when there

will be not references to those files.

When the trial period expired it’s possible to continue use the TCP for next 15 days. After those the user cannot close the pop-

up and the TCP is unusable.
