  • Elastic with a positive connection.Tension clamp.

Tension clamps for every area of appli-cation in modern superstructure weare manufacturing them at our state-of-the-art plant in Coswig since 2008.

Our products meet every single requirement. They provide positive, permanent clamping of the rail andsleeper and guide the horizontal forces through theangle guide plate into the contour of the concrete sleeper which is designed to absorb these forces. They also make it possible to adjust the track andheight position, are not subject to any shearing forces on their sleeper bolts, can be supplied ready-assembled and require absolutely no maintenancework.

The production process is almost fully automatic, andis permanently monitored and controlled in accordancewith German and international quality standards. Ourproduction process is also subject to a continuous improvement process.

  • Clamping innovations.Product range.

The standard clamp: Skl 1The Skl 1 tension clamp is the standard clamp used for W systems. Its features include the following: Use for Cstat. > 200kN/mm

    2

Permanent strength up to f = 1.6 mm

The adapter solution: Skl 1/97The W97 rail fastener with the Skl 1/97 tension clampis an adapter solution. It was developed for rails with a rail foot width of 125 mm on concrete sleepers for a design rail foot width of 150 mm. This represents potential savings of 30% compared with the purchaseof new concrete sleepers.

For higher speeds: Skl 14The Skl 14 tension clamp is used for higher trackspeeds. Its features include the following: Use at 40kN/mm2 < Cstat. 60kN/mm

    2

Permanent strength up to f = 2.0 mm Use of Zw 900 elastic pad

Tried and tested: Skl 12The Skl 12 tension clamp is a tried and tested tensionclamp which also makes financial sense for KS systems.

We have a wide range of tension clamps to provide aperfect solution for a varietyof rail fastening systemsavailable for superstructureconstruction.

  • For high-speed traffic: Skl 15 TKThe special feature of this tension clamp for use onhigh-speed track sections is its flat characteristic curve.Compared with tension clamp types used in the pastfor high-speed traffic, this characteristic curve achieveslower down force losses, while maintaining the sametrack subsidence.

For highly elastic rail traffic: Skl 21 TKA rail fastening system, which provides a great deal of spring travel, while also satisfying all the requiredperformance features. This special product also has a flat characteristic curve which sets it apart from comparable products. Use at 22.5kN/mm2 < Cstat. 40kN/mm

    2

Permanent strength up to f = 3.2 mm Designed for speeds in excess of 230 km/h

For heavy load traffic: Skl 21 TK HHThe Skl 21 TK HH tension clamp meets all the require-ments for a rail fastening system for heavy haul traffic. The following characteristics ensure that the product issuitable for considerably higher horizontal forces: Use for Cstat. > 300kN/mm

    2

Permanent strength up to f = 2.5 mm Designed for axle loads of up to 40.5 metric tonnes Use of a longer angle guide plate
