The attached documents provide the information we received from General Atomics with respect to

the Americium-241 source. The

The GA detector part number is 036092-003. The source subassembly within the detector is part

number is 02810729-001. The file that starts with VS is the parts listing we received from GAin

response to our request for a source model number. The file that starts with V6 is the shipping

document TVA received with the detector. The first file in the string is series of emails where TVA

asked GA to provide the source model information. The radiation monitors were procured on the

WBN Unit 110 CFR Part 50 License. They will be transferred to WBN Unit 2 for installation when the

material license is amended.

Jimmy was trying to explain that we do not know the mfr. Of the source because we buy the part

with the source already embedded into the part. The PN he gave 02810729-001 is for the source

part that's assembled into the detector (03602092-003}. So basically there is no part no. nor mfr.

we can give you for the source itself. Hope you understand.

Ken,

The Am-241 source is imbedded in a Sodium Iodide (Nal) crystal as an Am-241 pulser and is

hermetically sealed in stainless steel housing. This crystal is manufactured for GAper our

proprietary drawing. The part number for the detector where the source is imbedded is GA part

number 02810729-001, but there is no separate part number for the source itself. I'm on vacation

starting tomorrow, so let Lana know if you have any questions.
