The Project Designer will be

responsible for preparation of

CSD during all of the Project

stages, including the Infra 2

stage, until the completion of the

Inra 2 Construction works.

Spatial requirements of the supplier and

interfacing parties will only become

available after award of the PPP contract

and once the PPP contractor’s designers

have finalized their design.

This will be after most of the Infra 1 works

will be implemented. Please explain how

the described approach can work for CSD’s

and SEM’s by the anticipated time

schedule.

Under the given approach the Project

Designer could only provide CSD’s and

SEM’s for the Final Design Stage.

For the Detailed Design the Project

Designer would be dependent on the PPP

Contractor’s Designer without any direct

contractual relation.

It’s not clear how the Project Designer can

anticipate and calculate the required

workload, effort and manpower on such an

unknown input.

Please clarify the above stated and

With respect to the insurance

period for SPPI, participants’

attention is drawn to the

provisions of clause 3 to the

COI, Annex G1.

With respect to other insurances

policies, participants’ attention

is drawn to the policy period

demands for each policy as

detailed in the COI, under

Annex G1.

In relation to the period of duration of the

different insurance coverage required

(Third party liability insurance, Employer's

Liability Insurance, SPPI), the agreement

refers to the fact that these policies must

remain in effect for the duration of the

"insurance period". We understand that this

refers to the duration of the provision of

services. Please, confirm.

The Company clarifies that the

Project Designer Name can

consist of two names,

nevertheless it required one COI

which will include all the

insureds as specified in the COI

terms.

(a) It is not clear on behalf of whom the

insurance certificate has to be issued.

Since the Participant’s non--

incorporated JV comprises of two

independent firms, the insurer's

certificate cannot refer to the Project

Designer (as stated in clause (2) of

Appendix G1, but to each one of the

members in the JV, separately.

Considering the above stated we

consider it appropriate to modify the

wording in clause (2) of Annex G1, as

well as in all paragraphs where is

appears as such, replacing them by

name of firm member on the JV. Our

aforementioned interpretation is based

on the wording at the bottom of page

certificate should be issued separately

for the Lead Design Firm and the

(b) Will it be accepted that the certificate

will refer independently to each

member of the JV, subject to a reply to

be provided to the question in literal
