“Food Crop” means any edible plant
or fungi cultivated for human
consumption and does not include
Leafy Vegetables and beansprouts.
“Food Frog Farming” means the
rearing of frogs intended for human
consumption.
“Seafood” means any of the varieties
of crustaceans, aquatic molluscs and
echinoderms intended for human
consumption and does not include any
of the varieties of marine, brackish
water or fresh water fishes.
“Cattle/Goat Farming for
Dairy Milk” means the rearing of
dairy cattle or dairy goats for the
production of dairy milk intended for
human consumption.

General Agriculture (Food) Farming
FOOD INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT DIVISION
• Tender is evaluated based on TENDER PROPOSAL
• Only 1 Tender Proposal per tenderer
• Successful Tenderer must adhere to the Tender Proposal throughout the Lease Term
The annual production output (Potential Production Output) declared in the TENDERPROPOSAL FORM must be achieved within 5 years, and maintained or exceedthroughout the remaining lease term

Farm must achieve the Potential Production Output within 5 years, and maintain or exceed it throughout the 20 year Lease Term
▪ Failure to perform the above conditions will result in a breach of contract▪ SFA may resume possession of the Land without compensation

Tenderers are to seal both Envelopes 1 and 2 containing the necessary documents and insert them into the Submission Envelope, and deposit the sealed Submission Envelope into the Tender Box.

• Download tender packet from www.sfa.gov.sg/landsales
• Site viewing by SFA
• Study Tender Documents
• Prepare Form of Tender, Tender Proposal Form, supporting documents, Tender Deposit and Processing Fee (Cashiers order)
Tender Close
• Deposit required documentsincluding Tender Deposit and Processing Fee (Cashiers order) into
• Tender Box 4 for General Agricultural (Food) Farming
• at 52 Jurong Gateway Road, Level 1 JEM Office Tower
• Deadline: 1 Dec 2020, 12 noon
Tender Acceptance
• Tenderers may be required to attend an interview for clarifications about their Tender Proposals
• Tender results in Q2 2021
• Successful Tenderers will receive the Tender Acceptance Letter from SFA
