Examples:

l Tenaska Frontier sponsors annual scholarships for local college-bound youth. To date, Tenaska Frontier has awarded $129,000 in scholarships to 158 students.

l Tenaska Frontier makes annual contributions to various charitable organizations, including the Grimes County Go Texan Weekend. Tenaska Frontier also made a significant contribution in 2008 to the construction of an emergency helipad in Roans Prairie to the benefit of Grimes County residents.

l Tenaska Frontier staff members are active in community leadership, help with local emergency response training, work with six local volunteer fire departments, conduct plant tours and are members of youth development and community service organizations.

l Employees at the Frontier generating facility volunteered approximately 200 hours in 2020 to support local community and charitable projects, including Future Farmers of America.

l Tenaska Frontier was honored as a 2015 Business of the Quarter by the Navasota Grimes County Chamber of Commerce. The plant and its employees were recognized for their community service and willingness to donate time and resources.
