SOMATHEERAM GLEAMS IN NEW SPLENDOR

Every year we take advantage of the low season during the summer months to ix small deiciencies and laws. Situated in a tropical environment, Somatheeram is constantly exposed to extreme weather con-ditions, such as heat and humidity. Due to this, roofs and pathways have to be repaired and paintings have to be brushed up now and then.

In the last few years we kept the renovation works to a certain limit, so that daily consultations and treatments

were not disturbed. However, this year we decided to close the resort for 6 weeks, in order to devote ourselves

to more extensive construction works – without causing any disturbance for our guests.

As Ayurveda is our most important basis, we put high emphasis on renovating the treatment rooms, to provide

an ideal experience for our clients. Two out of three treatment blocks underwent a general overhaul and are on

an entirely new quality level now.

Furthermore, some of the Standard Cottages have been renovated, extended and optimized to such an extent

that from September, 13th 2016 they are offered as a new category: the Deluxe Cottages. Located at prime

spots within the resort, the Deluxe Cottages provide a stunning sea view which you can enjoy from the terrace

or through one of the beautiful bay windows. The latter leave the rooms light-looded and ill them with a modern yet traditional atmosphere. The bedrooms have a bathroom attached and are equipped with air-condi-

tioners and electric kettles. All over, our Deluxe Cottages are a perfect addition to our current room categories.

We are very proud to have optimized the Somatheeram Ayurvedic Health Resort to this extent. As you should
