Temporary Assistance recipients totaled 565,463 in April 2014, decreasing by 993 (-0.2%) from the previous month. Related expenditures totaled $190,814,356 in April 2014, increasing by approximately $3.8 million (+2.0%) over March 2014.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients totaled 3,103,477 in April 2014, decreasing by 6,047 (-0.2%) from the previous month. Related expenditures totaled $428,767,555 in April 2014, decreasing by $136,390 (-0.03%) over March 2014.

Supplemental Security Income

Supplemental Security Income recipients (including Mental Hygiene) totaled 699,334 in April 2014, increasing by 7,045 (+1.0%) from the previous month. Related expenditures totaled $415,719,638 in April 2014, increasing by approximately $10.7 million (+2.6%) over March 2014.
