Special guest Lara Lambert Allen. Sat. 13 Jakob and Laurel Hofer, violin and vocalist Assembly Hall, 7:30 p.m. Husband and wife duo Jakob and Laurel Hofer perform with pianist Lawrence Gee. Selections include Schubert’s Fantasy for Violin and Piano, Holst’s Four Songs for Voice and Violin, and other selections from the vocal repertoire. Sat. 20 “Families Making Music” concert: HartStrings and the Gardner Family Assembly Hall, 7:30 p.m. The families of Brody and Corine Hart and Matthew and Brittany Gardner perform a varied program of string, piano, and vocal selections. Sat. 27 Kaden Larson, piano Assembly Hall, 7:30 p.m. Program includes Falla’s Fantasía Bética, Beethoven’s Piano Sonata in A-flat Major, and Liszt’s “Bénédiction de Dieu dans la Solitude.” CONCERTS IN THE PARK Brigham Young Historic Park, 7:30 p.m. All ages are welcome. In cases of inclement weather, park concerts will be moved to the Assembly Hall on Temple Square. Tues. 2 Octappella Popular a cappella recording group.
