• Not clear who involved parties are around serial are; supplier, owner, user, dealer

• Owner often financial owner; not service responsible. E.g. in use by should get the invoice

• OEM doing work for Service Provider wants to invoice Service Provider; not the user

Owner versus User of serial

• Per serial / installation group registration of involved parties

• Invoice by default to one of the registered parties

• Incidentally deviate from default party

• Time to cash reduction when sending invoice to correct party

• Under unusual circumstances also other involved parties known to be invoiced – also decrease time to cash

• Providing service to leased equipment possible
