How to Enable the Developer Tab on your Ribbon

-Select File in Word-Select Options-Select Customize Ribbon-Enable the Developer Tab (click the box)

Make sure the Developer Tab has appeared on the top toolbar in Word.

You Are Ready to Begin

-Click the Developer Tab to Get Started

-Insert Rich Text

In the Title bar, type the instructions that you want your students to follow such as:

● Type your name● Fill in the blank● Tell me…

You can set the font

Select the font you want the students to use.

Lock Your Content:This ensures that your students cannot delete your instructions, but can edit by answering.

How to Save Your Document1. To save a document as a

template, click File > Save As.2. Select where you want to save

your document.

3. Type a name for your template in the File name box.4. For a basic template, click Word Template in the Save as type list.

How to Upload to your website for Student UseSign In on the ISS website.Click on Site ManagerClick on New PageClick File LibraryName your Folder and Select ItAdd New FileType File TitleSelect File to Upload to Website

Now your students are ready to write using your template!!!
