Thermowells A thermowell is a thermally conductive socket recommended to: - Protect delicate instrument sensing element against corrosive effects - Permit instrument interchange or calibration check without disturbing or closing down the process Thermowells are available for high pressures, high temperatures and high velocity applications. Selected on the basis of pressure, temperature, flow, vibration and corrosion service parameters, basic thermowell types including barstock execution or built-up execution, threaded, socket weld and flanged. Materials – Standard – 304SS, 316SS, 316TiSS, 321SS Special – Duplex, Monel, Titanium, Nickel, Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy C4, Inconel 600, Incoloy 800 & more Coatings – Tantalum, PTFE, Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy C4, Zirconium Options – Plug & Chain, Immersion length polished, Degreased for oxygen service, Extension nipples

Electric Alarm Contacts These contacts, fitted into the case of a thermometer or pressure gauge, are designed to open or close circuits from the instrument’s pointer position. Available in 100mm and 150mm up to 4 contacts. Low Action Contacts These contacts are used in absence of high contact loads and vibrations. The contact is instantaneously released upon touching of the two contact pins. These contacts are not suitable for use in high duty operation, aggressive atmosphere and measuring instruments filled with liquids.

Snap-Action Contacts (with screwed-in magnets) This type of contacts can be used under almost all operating conditions and are generally not affected by vibrations. The contact release is accelerated by an additional skip or snap action when the pins are approaching. Inductive Contacts The gauges are equipped with non touching proximity switches. Due to their contact free operation, switching precision and long service life, these contacts are suitable for any industrial application and should preferably be used with oil filled measuring instruments. The output signal is determined by the presence or absence of a control vane moved by the instrument pointer within the electromagnetic field of the proximity switch.

B-20 Portable Multifunction, Multivariable Calibrator This Portable Multifunction/Multivariable Calibrator materializes a concept, a philosophy of operations, within the industrial world as a self-contained Miniature Calibration Laboratory. Instead of being located in a workshop it is brought in the field to provide full calibration service through easy, quick, safe and accurate microprocessor driven operations. The B-20 is really an anti-conventional unit as, in addition to a variety of Electrical Simulations and Measurements, it simulates/generates and measures Temperature, Vacuum and Pressure as well. Being a highly integrated Multifunction/Multivariable unit, it incorporates, in a compact and handy box, most of the functions normally available within the maintenance laboratory and in most cases; no external complements (pumps, fittings, manometers, additional modules) are required. Its storing capabilities allows the editing of individual Test Reports, according to ISO 9001:2000 requirements, either in direct association with a printer or with a PC.
