Plate Electrode Option (EBU-204P): The anode is made from a platinum- plated Titanium sheet; the cathode is made of durable 351 stainless steel. Plate electrodes provide a more dense electrical field resulting in faster, more efficient transfers. This option can speed up transfer of proteins over the whole spectrum of molecular weights. A high current power supply (such as the EPX-250X) must be used with plate electrodes.
