Telescopes gather light from distant objects and then magnify what ever you are looking at so you can see it

up close.

The Refractor-Parallel rays of light from an object pass through the lens and are refracted (bent) along the telescope tube to form an image.

The Reflector-Uses a curved mirror to collect light.

The first telescope was founded in the Netherlands October of 1608. But they were made famous and patented in Italy by Galileo Galilei.

has no limits because it can move but the farthest shot away was about 47 billion light years

away.
