TOURNAMENT FOOTBALL 2015

SK Beersel Drogenbos previously organised the renowned Flanders Euro Tourna-

ment, where teams of Ajax, Austria Wien, Borussia Dortmund, Feyenoord,

Werder Bremen and the best Belgian teams participated.

When the clubs from Beersel and Drogenbos merged in 2004, the organisation

of the international tournament was deferred indefinitely. But in 2008 our club

decided to reestablish our good reputation with the international youth tourna-

ment 'Memorial Mayor Jean Calmeyn' in May.

Drogenbos is located 10 km south of Brussels and is easy to reach by public

transport.

Preliminary round for provincial and regional Belgian teams.

Final round U13 tournament, with international teams,

Belgian teams from the national leagues and the winner of the

preliminary round.

Sunday

May 24

Final round U15 tournament, with international teams,

Belgian teams from the national leagues and the winner of

the preliminary round.

Dear club responsible,

Our club is very committed to supporting, motivating and training 350 young

football players. The high light of our season is the international youth

tournament ‘Memorial Mayor Jean Calmeyn’.

Our international youth tournament is a high standard tournament in a friendly

atmosphere, where your team will challenge teams from Belgian and

international clubs that are renowned for their excellent youth formation.

Dozens of motivated members of our club work each year with their heart and

soul to give the young players and team staff members an unforgettable

weekend. The numerous compliments we receive during and after each

tournament are the best motivation for us to continue this valuable work.

It is hard to find a better balance between a sportive challenge and a friendly

ambiance than our tournament. It is a special event you have to experience for

yourself. We hope to welcome your team in May 2015.
