“Swords & Glory, Volume 1 – Tékumel Source Book: The World
of the Petal Throne” was originally published as the first of two
volumes (with Volume 2 - Tékumel Player’s Handbook) in a boxed set
by Gamescience in 1983. The first two volumes of a three volume
edition of the Tékumel Source Book were published by Different
Worlds Publications in 1987. The third volume was later published
by Tita’s House of Games in 2002. This is a reproduction of the
original Gamescience edition, with an index and additional pages
added for clarity and ease of publication.
