Tegel Quartier: Deichmann opens a new shop
Berlin, 7 February 2018 – In the spring of 2019, Europe's largest shoe retailer Deichmann opened a new branch in the Tegel Quarter on Gorkistraße in Berlin-Tegel. On the first floor of the shopping and experience centre, Deichmann occupies a 580 sqm shop area.
In addition to the highlights from the current collections, Deichmann's new branch offers chic accessories such as belts and bags as well as the timeless basic range of all Deichmann shops. In the clearly arranged shelves, a wide range of shoe fashion is easy to find: arranged according to models and colours in the original box. In this way, the customer can immediately recognize whether the shoe is in its size and can compare, try on and choose the right shoe.
„We are very pleased to have won Deichmann for the Tegel Quarter. With the opening in the spring of 2019, the Tegel-based company will be able to offer an extensive range of shoes and accessories within walking distance, and new jobs will be created", says Andreas Kogge, Head of Leasing & Investment at the HGHI-Group.
The real estate project developer, investor and client renovates and modernizes the Tegel Center, the former Hertie-Haus and the Gorkistraße on a large scale. In addition, the existing retail space will be expanded from 30.000 sqm to 50.000 sqm. Starting in the spring of 2019, around 100 shops will offer visitors a varied mix of fashion, gastronomy, electronics and services.
