Teen Academy Program
The Teen Academy is a six to eight-hour block of instruction in which high school and junior high students (7th through 12th graders) are brought into the FBI office space for a comprehensive look into today’s FBI. Students are provided with several presentations and receive hands-on practical application on topics including: careers in the FBI, cyber, Evidence Response Team, Hazardous Materials, SWAT, Undercover Operations, Internet Safety, simulated firearms training, a tour of the gun vault, and the day to day operations of a typical FBI office.
Entrance Requirements:
Must be a high school or junior high student (7th through 12th grade) Must obtain permission from parent/guardian and school principal or guidance
counselor Must submit a completed application Must agree to attend the entire one-day session
Time & Date of Sessions:
Registration and class will begin at 8:15 a.m. on a predetermined date and concludes approximately 4:00 p.m. the same day.
The Teen Academy will be held at the Denver FBI Office located at 8000 East 36th Avenue, Denver, CO. Candidates will provide their own transportation to the facility.
There is limited parking available.
