Size of event (up to 100 people)?
Half day or full day event?
Live speakers or TED content only?
Basic Host Responsibilities
Selecting a venue Choosing a name Inviting Participants Choosing content Creating a website
The Application Process It’s not a competitive process (whew!)
Most applications approved as long as they fit the TED guidelines and framework
Approval usually comes within a 5-10 days
Don’t promote your event until your application is approved

DON’T try to stream talks live Burn to DVD Play from hard drive or flash drive Use Miro player (open source)
