STANDARD I: LEADERSHIP AND VISION

EDUCATIONAL LEADERS INSPIRE A SHARED VISION FOR COMPREHENSIVE INTEGRATION OF TECHNOLOGY

AND FOSTER AN ENVIRONMENT AND CULTURE CONDUCIVE TO THE REALIZATION OF THAT VISION.

 

Performance Indicator I.C: Foster and nurture a culture of responsible risk-taking and advocate policies promoting continuous innovation with technology.

Step 1: Form a Technology Committee

Timeline: By the first week of school

Benefits: Committee will be able to brainstorm ideas, collaborate on projects and work towards the common goal of improving technology integration.

Standard II: Learning and TeachingEducational leaders ensure that

curricular design, instructional strategies, and learning environments integrate appropriate technologies to maximize learning and teaching.

Collaborate with teachers to ensure technology integration.

Timeline: Meet with teachers at grade level

Benefits: ActiveInspire will be integrated into instruction if teachers are given more support.

Train teachers to use wikis as a more efficient way to collaborate ideas.
