WIRE SYSTEM UNIWIRETM (patent pending)
UNIWIRE TM takes speed into a new dimension.
Perfectly even gaps between can bodies on the welding plane are no longer wishful thinking. Fluctuations in the gaps between cans generate different forces at the leading and trailing end of the can body, which has made it impossible to guarantee perfect welding quality at the respective ends at speeds over 115 m/min.
But now there is a solution: UNIWIRETM. UNIWIRETM represents a step into a new era for the three-piece can industry, and enables 20% higher output at welding speeds of up to 140 m/min. Unlike typical wire guides, UNIWIRETM has a triple wire drive, which produces lower and more consistent stretching of the wire. The drives are individually and specifically torque controlled.
