Technology & Feature

The ultrasonic welding process involves creating proper vibra-tion/amplitude on the face of the welding tool. This vibration/amplitude, when combined with proper plastic part and tool design, initiates melt in the polyolefin material and thus welds and/or forms the plastic material.

The MS soniTOP servo welding system is the ideal choice for initiating and controlling this melt during the welding process. This seminar explains why and covers other similar techno-logies.
