Superintendents are encouraged to attend and bring their assistants and techs!
The Louisiana/Mississippi Chapter has an awesome program tailored for technicians but also beneficial to su-perintendents, assistants, and any of the crew who works on golf course maintenance.
Please take a minute to register for this event, it will help in our planning to know who will be attending. Schedule of Events:
8:00 am Breakfast and Registration 9:00 am Dr. Christian Baldwin "Agronomics 101" Basic agronomic session explaining why superintendent's aerifiy, mow so often with different heights, top dress, etc. Technicians know a lot about the equipment, but not necessary about turf maintenance. Fill in the gaps of your agronomic knowledge! 10:00 am Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation Alan Jones 2 stroke technology and fuel for handheld power equipment.
10:30 am Ladd’s Mark Pilger, SIP Grinders “Extreme Driving” 10:30—11:00: Chattahoochee Turf Bedknives 11:30—12:30 Lunch
Cost: There is no charge to attend this meeting if you are a member of the Louisiana/Mississippi Chapter. If you are not a member you must pay for a chapter membership in your category in order to attend. (Membership dues paid at the meeting will be applied to 2016.
