TECHNICAL GUIDE TO CONQUERORTM PIR INSULATED ROOF PANEL

ConquererTM Panel ProductsIntroduction

ConquerorTM International Ltd is New Zealand’s only manufacturer of PIR core structural panel products.

From their state-of-the art 7500m2 manufacturing plant in Christchurch they are able to manufacture a diverse range of panel products from a single production line, making it one of the most adaptable plants of its type anywhere in the world. This brand new facility also has the unique ability to manufacture panels in lengths of up to 24m, enabling significantly more flexibility in building design.

Conqueror’s core manufactured products are ConquerorTM brand Insulated Garage Doors, the ConquerorTM Insulated Structural Panel System and ConquerorTM Insulated Board. ConquerorTM also has considerable capacity for OEM manufacturing.

ConquerorTM panels really are in a class of their own. With their innovative PIR core, they offer superior insulation properties, outperforming similar products by over 50%. They also have remarkable acoustic qualities and an exceptional fire rating.

And all of these properties have been achieved without using any harmful CFC’s or HCFC’s in the PIR core – testament to Conqueror’s commitment to a better standard of building, using more sustainable products.

In addition to all this, Conqueror’s unmatched NZ manufacturing capacity ensures short lead times, consistent supply of superb quality product, and guaranteed pricing.

Testing & ResearchIn a recent study comparing the cost benefits of using various insulation products in commercial roofing systems, PIR foam (Polyiso) insulation emerged as the decisive winner over extruded and expanded polystyrene insulations. The study (completed by Energy Conservation Management, an independent energy research and analysis firm in the USA) revealed pertinent information about factors such as return on investment, installation costs and payback rates, which determine the cost effectiveness of using different insulation products in construction applications. The bottom-line numbers showed why PIR foam has become the leading insulation product in the marketplace today, as well as why it is the preferred choice for specifiers, architects, and contractors worldwide.
