Disassemble - LO90 Models (ENZO 90 is shown)
The LO85 & 90 models are quite similar to disassemble. For the 90 model there is however a few extra steps to get it separated - shown in the pics below. The rest of the disassembling procedure for the 90 model is similar to LO85 models shown on the next pages
Locate the pin fixing the bat door. Push out the pin using the pin removal tool. Pull out the bat door
Pin TOP/BOT HSG
Pin TGL
Pin BAT DR
ENZO 90: If the batt door is locked, the child lock release tool must be used to unlock (note the red arrows). The UP SMART 90 batt door is handled different way as it has automatic lock which means it is always locked (see UP SMART 90 pic above). It is opened same mech way as UP SMART 77/ 88 - see next page
Locate the pin fixing the TGL. Push it out using the pin removal tool for LO90 (long push out pin). Always check that the TOGGLE CAP,SGL (soft silicone cap) is in place before reassembling the TGL/LID

Testing these devices without the extension cable will show an incorrect cur-rent measurement. However, if the ext cable is used during a DSA6000 HI test of a model where the ext cable is not needed, it will not affect the test. Therefore, to avoid failures and misunderstandings it is safer just to leave the ext cable on the DSA at all times and use it during test of all devices, no matter if it is required or not
Connect the ext prog cable to the CS44 prog cable. Connect to the DSA6000 box as shown

Prog Adaptor Clip - LO85 Models
To remove the clip firmly grip this side of prog adapt Pull tip of the clip Slide the clip from adaptor
It is important to have the programming cable connected before adding the clip to the prog adapt. Add the clip as shown in the pics. The clip is recommended to be used during test / fit-ting in order to keep the prog cable connected during the complete procedure

Use of test fixture is mandatory during DSA6000 final HI testing. To use the fixture, place the HI in the fixture according to pic. Place it in the test chamber as shown and select the correct test tpix and make sure to follow instructions coming up on the screen. During the test programme execu-tion the IAD calibration will be performed at the appropriate time. Another benefit from the fixture is that the HI is in a well defined position so the telecoil test can be performed without any interaction from the operator

Locate the pin for batt door. Push it out and remove batt door. Add the prog adapt and fix it with the pin. Insert batt pill size 675
Gently close the batt door and connect the CS44 prog cable. Place the fixture in the test chamber. Insert the hook into the 2cc coupler tube and place it as shown (make sure the HI does not touch neither the fixture nor the ATC4000 sound chamber). Connect the extension cable to the DSA6000 as also shown on page “Testing - LO85 Models”. Select the correct test tpix and run the test making sure to follow instructions coming up on the screen

Wireless Test / Connection Test
Wireless test using Airlink / Airlink 2:The “RF (Radio Frequency) signal test” is performed during hybrid test. In service & repair situations only a connection test is needed. The DSA6000 can perform a connection test to test the wireless function on the devices. The test is performed using an Airlink / Airlink 2 mounted directly in any of the DSA 6000 units USB ports. No fixture is required performing a Connection test
The test is performed in the open air on the desktop. During a DSA6000 test prog running the connection test the operator will be asked to place the device in the WL Test point. During the connection test the device does not need to be connected with a prog cable and a batt pill. Instead a fresh batt must be inserted. The con-nection test is a part of the Final Device Test running on the DSA 6000. The test system will search for a device with a s/n matching the s/n for the Device Under Test (DUT) in the running test sequence
To make sure the device is in boot mode the batt must be inserted immediately before the [Start] button is pressed. The WL Test point is a spot on the table approx 20 cm away from the Airlink dongle. The s/n matching will prevent connection with any other wireless devices in the nearby area. Best practice is to first insert the battery and immediately after press the Start button (within 5 sec). Inserting the batt will start the device boot sequence
Note:An extended wireless test using a TV streamer / SAS is introduced. Please find more detailed info in Tech Bulletin No. 2013-05-002 “Improved functionality for the RF Range check on DSA 6000” on GTO web site where also other info about WL test can be found
