M150 TRACKWAY

FAUN Trackway M150 Trackway solutions derives from our original Military Load Classification (MLC) 70 Trackway. Due to MLC70 having the capability to withstand repeated loads of tracked and wheeled vehicles, the Trackway® has been graded as MLC 70 baseline on a 3% California Baring Ratio (CBR) ground conditions indefinitely. However, it will support heavier loads up to a military load classification of 150T dependant on the ground condition.

CAPABILITY

M150 Trackway:

Provides clear access on rough terrain, and beyond the surf zone to the shore.

Is suitable for all vehicles that require access on and off the beach landing craft.

Can be deployed and recovered quickly and efficiently from the M150 Trackway Container by use of a Rough Terrain Container Handling (RTCH) vehicle.

Is designed to be constantly reused and has a long operational life.

Is a modular system comprising of single aluminum panels connected by male and female joints and secured by locking pins. Individual panels can be easily removed or replaced as required.

Has half panels every 16ft 4” (5m); which facilitate easy splitting and joining to create the length of M150 Trackway required.

Provides a high traction surface.

Is supplied coiled onto a spool for mechanized deployment from the M150 Trackway Container.

SPECIFICATION M150 Trackway:

Can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°F to +140°F for maximum usability.

Does not float and therefore is suitable for use in flowing water.

Is 95% recyclable and has a residual value at the end of its useful life.

Is easily cleaned due to the open nature of the profile, minimizing retention of mud and debris.

M150 TRACKWAY CONTAINERCAPABILITY

M150 Trackway Container has numerous capabilities including:

Is a RTCH mounted transportation, deployment, recovery and storage system for M150 Trackway.

Is an ISO container which can be transported by land, sea or air; enabling expeditionary personnel to deploy and recover up to 295ft (90m)of M150 Trackway.

Is connected to the RTCH top handler via the RTCH twistlocks. The deployment and recovery is controlled hydraulically in cab by the RTCH driver via the joystick.

Will deploy 295ft of M150 Trackway in less than six minutes and recover 295ft (90m) of M150 Trackway in less than five minutes.

M150 Trackway is deployed by driving the RTCH forwards. The M150 Trackway Container recovers the M150 Trackway by reversing the RTCH.

Requires two personnel - one RTCH operator and one ground guide.

Requires simple, periodic maintenance which offers a reduced whole life cost.

Can be mounted to tele-handlers telescopic forklifts and wheeled loaders subject to specification.
