What is Inline Finishing?

Our Inline Finishing System creates Press Finished Products and allows Eclipse to be more price competitive. It also enables us to reduce turnaround times by offering a product that is finished in one operation.

Remoist Gluer:Option for adding Pattern Remoist application for envelopes, reply pieces and stamps etc.

Pattern Perforator:Offers a solution for producing perforated items such as stamps and coupons etc. Perforation both in web direction and across the web in a variety of custom shapes and sizes.

One in Four out Angle Bar Unit: One web in on entry with option to slit web in up to four ribbons. Options possible are multi leaved products, nested products and stepped edged products. Multiple stream products possible, therefore increasing number of products possible out of one press revolution.

Wet Flap Gluer:Option for adding Pattern Gluing, Spot Gluing for products incorporating Return Envelopes, Double Thickness Reply Cards etc.

PRODUCT RANGE FROM ECLIPSE EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATION

Plow Towers:Plow fold web and ribbons using up to five plow stations to produce more sophisticated product formats and size options than conventional press folder. Plow towers can also be equipped for slitting, inline perforating, line gluing and intermittent gluing.

Shear Slitting:Option for precise and neat trimming for products such as Spine Glued booklets and multi ribbon work etc.

Rotary Cutter:Designed to accurately cut and deliver fully bleed trimmed or non bleed trimmed products from a continuous web of printed paper. Products can be cut into 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 around out of a press cut-off length of 630mm. Various sizes for each option possible. Copies delivered in either one or two streams depending on the product design.

Stacker:Copies laser counted and batched to suit. Finished copies boxed or bulk packed onto pallets. Versions can be intermixed on certain formats for marketing / testing purposes.
