• Thresholds are Aluminum Alloy 6063, T5 temper, unless noted.• Architectural Bronze Thresholds are Alloy CDA 385 (Copper Alloy No. C38500), Architectural Bronze.• Stainless Steel Thresholds and Cover Plates are Type 304; known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high tensile

strength and resistance to oxidation.

The superior safety material. This exceptionally strong surface provides the utmost safety for outdoor applications. The epoxy abrasive particle mix is bonded to the aluminum base. Thresholds can be ordered with non-slip epoxy abrasive particles bonded into the grooves. The tread provides a coefficient of friction of 1.02 dry and 0.98 wet to comply with ADA, OSHA and most local building code requirements. Available on all thresholds up to 24” wide and on 818 aluminum and brass cover plate up to 10” wide.

PEA is an abrasive traction infused with epoxy abrasive photoluminescent tread. Commonly used on indoor applications on staircases. We provide non-slip stair nosings that follow New York City Standard RS 6-1/1a and other building code standards for photoluminescent exit path markings. Profiled grooves with rubber or epoxy inserts provide durable, attractive surfaces that do not collect dirt or water. The 1.25-inch wide photoluminescent tread is integrated into the outer three grooves along stair edges. Available in standard aluminum finish, Traction Tread nosings are designed for easy cutting and drilling on site.

Our Aluminum Compostie Filler (ACF) contains aluminum oxide and silicone carbide.

Powder coat finish is available on most thresholds. Contact us to submit a request.

DOOR FLOOD BARRIERS

6

Legacy’s Flood Guard uses an inventive design that provides a

lightweight, cost-efficient, and reliable flood protection option

for openings in most buildings. The product is engineered to

provide a watertight guard that protects and prevents water

ingress through doors and windows.

Compression seals, made of solid rubber extrusion (SRE),

used on the bottom of the guard. This SRE aids in creating a

tight seal around the perimeter of the product. In addition, the

removable guard can be conveniently stored. Upon news of rain

or a flood, simply drop down the guard into the pre-installed

aluminum brackets.

The guards are used to deflect unwanted water from penetrating

doors and windows. Large openings, garage doors, standard

commercial openings, and residential openings, are all ideal

applications for the Legacy product to be used.

The aluminum channels used in the Flood Guard are extruded

aluminum. The guard itself however is a 5052 type marine

grade aluminum. The SRE has been engineered to be specific

for this type of application. The rubber compensates for any

gaps around the door or window. As water hits the guard, the

horizontal hydrostatic pressure is converted to downward

pressure on the SRE causing a secure, tight seal around the

perimeter of the frame.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONSGuard 5052 marine aluminum alloy

Frames Channel 6062 alloy T5-T6, with 10-32 stainless steel Allen head tightening screws every 8" on center.

Seal SRE composed of high density for strength and low hardness for compression rubber extrusions.

Hardware #10 x 1-1/4" FHPH with plastic expansion tube anchors. Snap covers for safety provided for the top of the channels and for the mounting holes.

Installation To install Hollow Metal frames, Aluminum Frames, Wood frames. To install on concrete, brick or metal surface outside the frame.
