The methods of conversion and application of Ritrama’s self-adhesive materials are multiple and it is therefore essential that the users are aware of the particular method to be used, prior to commencing the production. Printing: testing for compatibility between product, printers and inks is always highly recommended before printing the product. Application Systems and Conditions: it is recommended that the performance of the product be always tested in the actual applications conditions as to humidity and moisture; temperature; substrate state (rough, smooth, flat or irregular shapes, small containers or very large); direct contact with the substance into the container; applicator technology (hand application, multi headed fully automated at high speed); specific stress on Ritrama material once applied (high and/or low tempera-ture, mechanical stress, rubbing, exposure to challenging environment conditions), et cetera. As Ritrama’s products are used in conditions beyond its control, such as those listed above as example, Ritrama does not assume any liability for inappropriate use of the products. Paper is an important raw material for Ritrama, and we are committed to sourcing our paper materials responsibly and to offer all our customers paper based products which meet the FSC® Chain of Custody requirements. Ritrama S.p.A. has attained FSC® Chain-Of-Custody certifications for their production facilities in Sassoferrato (AN) and Caponago (MB) - Italy, Ritrama UK Ltd. in Manchester - UK, Ritrama S.A., in Valparaíso - Chile and Ritrama Hefei in Cina (FSC® SA-COC-004799). This applies to the production of self-adhesive materials manufactured with paper sourced from FSC® approved mills.

CERTIFICATIONS FOR FOOD PRODUCTS

Fully certified labelling materials for the stringent packaging requirements in the food industry.These materials, which feature the special top coating TC8 and a dedicated adhesive, are food approved by ISEGA and totally compliant with the European Food Regulations EC 1935/2004 & EU 10/2011, with FDA 175.105 (Food and Drugs Administra-tion) and with the German Recommendations on Food Contact Materials issued by BfR (Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung) - the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment.
