Identify Brownfields § A brownfield is a redevelopment project
that is impeded by environmental concerns.– Look for red flags
(old gas station, dry cleaner, industrial, commercial)– Are environmental unknowns a barrier to
redevelopment?– Match to redevelopment goals?

The BiT App Works on OS and Android Devices
§ The app can be installed on iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets
§ The app will store information on your phone when you are out of cell service/wifi range and then synch with your BiT database once you are back online
§ You can interact with your BiT database in the field, add or edit site information
§ You can use the map tool to get directions to your site from Google Maps and you can move the map marker to correct locations in the field
