From m/s Estonia tragedy 1994 to recent floods 2005 in Pärnu we have experienced critical need for interagency radio communication
Present radio systems differ even inside one Authority (EDACS; 2 meters etc)
Integration of existing old radio systems is difficult and expensive
Establishing of the Intereagency Radio Network is one of Schengen recommendation
