2. Specific Instructions

2.11. Make sure the asset you are going to attach has got its parent asset fitted

and the start values are correct for that asset and it is tracking the correct lifecodes

2. Next, you need to have a work order and task for fitting, the work order taskneeds to have a carried out reg journey set and carried out date set. Thesevalues are important as this is the start point for where the maintenance itemsstart counting their applicable life codes from. We have already done this for you. Each of the aircrafts has a records loading work order set up to loadparts. Please refer screen shot below.

Note 1: The records loading work order and task have been carried out usingTechnical log No *Start. So any asset attached to the aircraft at this point withnull life code values, will have the cumulative values of the aircraft life codes asTSN and TSLSV.

Note 2: If not all technical logs have been entered in the system (likely to happento old aircrafts) a start value will have to be manually provided for the life codes. The assets will then accumulate life code values from the start values.

3. Next, go to Fleet Registrations in the Main Menu. ‘Edit’ the aircraft and go tothe ‘Assets’ tab then the ‘Asset Tree’ tab. Find the model (should be in red if not fitted) for the asset you want to attach

 4. Right click item and select attach as per screen grab below.

6. The next box you get shows the life codes setup against the asset recordfor you to confirm that they are correct – see screen grab. If they are notalready set up please add the life codes which must be tracked againstthis asset and the appropriate TSN and TSLV values against them.

7. If you want to confirm all is ok you can right click the asset on the tree andview asset. The screen below highlights this, here are the columnsexplained:
