Many of the tools we share are frontloaded strategies. It feels like a lot of work at first, but then it is just
management and tweaking.
General Presentation Software
How do you feel when a student says:1) I didn’t know that was my homework.2) I lost my handout from last class. 3) We have a test today?4) What’s my grade?5) How can I raise my grade?6) I was absent for that.7) I don’t get it.8) I needed your help but couldn’t find you.9) Fieldtrip? Digital Gradebooks and Beyond1) No frills (but all the features) gradebook and attendance: Gradekeeper ($)
● Students can monitor their own grade, see missing assignments and identify places to improve● Parents and community of support can monitor grades, as well as receive emails on student’s
progress● No complex calculations for teacher--can fully customize gradebook. Set up automatic email
reports or send out special progress emails to communicate with students and parents.
