For us, there is but one God and one Lord Jesus Christ in whom all things come and in whom we live.

For us, there is one creator; one recipient of our life.

renown => defined as exalted reputation ... the state of being widely known for great achievements or merits, fame

God has gained glory for Himself through His actions in our world and through the story of His people.

All things are from Him, through Him and to Him, to God be the glory forever. Amen.

by Him, for Him … Jesus is before all things and in Jesus all things

hold together.

All of these acted upon the exalted reputation of God. God’s renown meant more to them than their own life. They placed themselves on the line for God’s exalted reputation and God received the glory.
