OUR PURPOSE:
The NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) is a national high performance centre and Olympic training facility.
Since 1996 the NSWIS has supported Australian athletes to become world’s best via coaching, performance support and innovative training environments.

OUR VISION
The NSWIS is aligned with the national framework provided by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC). Australia’s Winning Edge (AWE) is the ASC’s game plan for moving from world class to world best.
Developed in partnership with Australia’s high performance network, AWE provides the high performance sports sector with clear performance targets and a framework for collaboration and sustainable success from 2012-2022.

PERFORMANCE HISTORY
The NSWIS has supported the careers of some of Australia greatest athletes, including: Ian Thorpe, Louise Sauvage, Bradley McGee, Matthew Mitcham, Kurt Fearnley, Torah Bright and Jessica Fox.
Over 300 NSWIS athletes have won medals at the Olympics and Paralympics, the Commonwealth Games and world championships.

Your support is vital to our future and you can donate to the NSWIS through Friends of NSWIS which is run in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation.
The Australian Sports Foundation raises funds for sporting and community clubs and organisations for projects that seek to develop sport and has raised over $300 million since 1986.
All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible, which is a real benefit to donors and makes fundraising easier.
