term of the agreement, should the Athlete

test positive for a banned substance included

in the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) list

of banned substances as a result

of taking USANA® nutritional products, USA-

NA will compensate the athlete with up to two

times his or her current annual earnings up to

$1 million.

Athlete Sponsorship

USANA offers a product-only sponsorship to

individual athletes (male and female) in differ-

ent sports worldwide who are a good fit with

USANA. These athletes must be competing in

both national and international categories, use

USANA products, and must be willing to pro-

vide third party endorsements, thereby increas-

ing the value of the USANA brand.

At USANA, we review our Athlete Sponsorship

contracts on an annual basis and welcome

suggestions for new sponsorships! If you have

someone you can recommend we would love

to hear from you.

The agreement would include the following:

From USANA:

• USANA products will be provided to the ath-

lete in accordance with a contract

• All sponsorships are product only

• USANA looks to build longterm partnerships

with their Sponsored Athletes based on their

individual requirements.

From the Athlete:

• Must be able to sign a contract

• Agreement to provide testimonials to USANA

on the individual USANA products used, the

benefits received and on their relationship with

USANA

• Attend agreed USANA events

• Promote USANA’s products at media events

• Promote USANA and place the USANA logo

on the athlete’s website for the entire duration

of the sponsorship

• Provide a minimum of three professional, re-

cent photographs of the athlete

(ideally including training, casual/relaxed and

at an event)

How Do I Nominate an Athlete for

Sponsorship?

• Send in a resume, any supporting information

and request for sponsorship letter to Customer

Service at distserv@ph.usana.com

• The application will be forwarded to the Mar-

keting Department for action

• You and the nominated athlete will receive

an acknowledgement via email once the ap-

plication has been received by the Marketing

Department

• Applicants and their sponsors are notified via

email once a decision has been made
