Academics Scholar Awards at Letterman’s Night on May 20 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

Summer Training: We will meet at the Womble Park Shelter

next to the tennis courts. Strength and Running Weeks: June 15-July 3 and July 17-18. Days: M-Th and Long Run on Saturdays Senior/Captain Led Week July 27-July 30 Times- Weekdays 7 a.m. Saturdays 8 a.m. Other days (Dead Weeks)---Get together as

a TEAM!

Youth Camp/Community Service Hours

June 22-25 July 13-16 August 3-6 Times are 8:30-11:00 Ages 8-13 Location: Womble Park Turf Field Register online with the Parks and Rec.

10-12th Grade August 3-7 Cost: $270 Near Asheville NC Parents carpool

Practices Next Year

We practice at both the high school and Sugg Farm Park. Speed work days and Tacky Days will be at the high school. Long Runs and Tempo Runs will be at Sugg Farm Park.

Time- 2:35 p.m and 3:15 p.m at the high school (start time will be based on pace group). 3 p.m. for days at Sugg Farm Park

Practice Requirements Anyone missing a practice needs to let one of the

coaches know either in person or by email at least 24 hours in advance. If you are late or absent for class work, a signed note from a teacher is required.

If a runner has an unexcused absence from practice they will not be allowed to participate in the next meet. If a runner has 3 absences (excused/unexcused) they can/will be removed from the team or removed from varsity competition.

The first official practice is August 1 (yes this is a Saturday) and attendance counts from that point forward.

Time Incentive T-Shirts

Time incentive T-shirts will be given to athletes based on their best competitive time during the season.

For boys, the T-shirts will be given for 18:00, 17:00, 16:00 and 15:00 minute club.

For girls, the T-Shirts will be given for 21:00, 20:00, 19:00 and 18:00 minute club.
