September 2019 Edition
We have stayed at Whitbarrow on numerous occasions and the
resort has excellent accommodation, a superb restaurant, bar,
leisure facilities, pool and gymnasium. We enjoyed the nearby
locations, which include Keswick, the English Lake District and the

2019 BMW Elements Golf A successfulTournament
The 2019 BMW Elements Golf Tournament, which took place on 31
August at Elements Private Golf Reserve, was a great success. The
attending players had a blast on Elements’ championship golfing
greens, with three players proving victorious in their respective
divisions. Congratulations to the winners, who came out tops on the

Seasonal EventsThe Oystercatcher Trail Run will be taking place
from 21 – 23 September 2019 in Mossel Bay.Members can also look
forward to the Strawberry Festival, happening from 21 – 22
September 2019 at Redberry Farm in George. Enjoy a whale of a time
in Hermanus at the Hermanus Whale Festival, taking place from 27 –
29 September. The festival is the only eco-marine festival in South
Africa and promises to be an action-packed weekend for all.

From 3 – 11 October 2019, Rovos Rail is offering a 9-day Golf
Safari for players and non-playing guests, with optional excursions
offered at all venues, including game drives at the Kruger National
Park, Mkhaya Game Reserve (Swaziland), and Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park,
a Durban city tour, including lunch, and a guided tour of the
Battlefields. The tour starts and ends at Rovos Rail station in
Pretoria.
