Year 3 WeDo
PSSA Rugby League
Last week, Year 3 students engaged in a Lego
WeDo learning experience to explore the life cycle
of a frog in their Science lessons. The students
worked in collaborative groups to build a tadpole,
froglet and adult frog and throughout the process
had the opportunity to record with photos and
engage in conversation about the frogs
characteristics during the life cycle changes. The
students were able to code the
model to investigate how they
moved at each stage. The
students while having fun, also
engaged in developing further
their critical and creative
thinking skills.
Congratulations to Riley Meale and Izaiah Carter-
Pahulu for being selected into the U12 PSSA Rugby
League. Izaiah and Riley will travel to Leeton early
term 2 to trial for the Riverina team.
