    NEW METHODOLOGY USED & RESULTS IN TEACHING ABOVE SUBJECT:

    1) Instructions to students and their parents by SMS.

    2) Multiple tests at a one time (Different papers for odd & even roll number students)

    3) Maximum Lectures delivered with help of LCD Projector.

    4) Periodic Class test & Open book test.

    5) Course file updated every year & distributed to students.

    6) Videos and Pictures shown for better understanding.

    7) Feedback from students: 3.5 (avg) out of 5.0

    8) Distributions of lecture presentations & notes through emails.

    9) Made availability of eBooks of concerned subject on network.

    10) Special lectures conducted for exam approach.

    11) Continuous touch with parents of defaulter students through phone & letters.

    12) Class teacher meetings with students for better understanding of students problems.

    13) Providing study material to students on Intranet facility available in the department.

    14) Improving quality of teaching by making better way of understanding for students by introducing

    industrial design related problems for T.E. and B.E petroleum engineering students in Lab work and

    lectures.

    1. Worked for Organizing Committee of Applied Geology workshop arranged by MIT &

    University of Pune (Under BCUD), during March 2012.

    2. Worked in Various institute committees viz., Library, Internal dead stock verification,

    consumable stock, accommodation and transportation.

    3. Industry Academia interaction program organized by Petrotech and Indian oil Corporation

    Limited, 6th Summer school on Petroleum Refining and Petrochemical at Indian oil Institute of

    Petroleum Management, Gurgaon.

    4. Industry Academia interaction program organized by Petrofed and LNG Dahej, A-Z of Natural

    Gas at LNG Dahej Terminal, Gujarat.

    5. Industry Academia interaction program organized by Petrotech & ONGC, Second Seminar on

    Drilling Technology conducted at IDT ONGC, Dehradun.

    DEPARTMENT LEVEL CONTRIBUTIONS:

    1. Lab Development: Worked for development of new petroleum engineering lab, petroleum

    drilling engineering lab for equipments donated by ONGC and Cairn India.

    2. Industrial Visits: Arranged industrial tours to ONGC Rajmundhry, ONGC Ahmedabad, ONGC

    Mehsana and Geological tour to Karnataka for T.E. petroleum students.

    3. Active Participation in arranging SPE student chapter, an Industry Institute Interaction

    program.

    4. Active participation in development of Departmental Library.

    5. Inspection of Reservoir Engineering Equipments purchased fron GON Enginering works

    Dhanbad.

    6. Visited Petroleum Engineering and Petroleum Production Engineering Labs at Indian school of

    Mines (ISM), Dhanbad.

    7. Coordination for NBA work in department like updating students information, internal

    assessment of students, equipments, labs and other facilities.

    8. Organized and in charge for SPE Model making contest for S.E, T.E, B.E Petroleum engineering

    students also in charge for S.E Technical presentation competition during 2011 and 2012.

    9. Organizing support for Industry Academia Interaction program for B.E. Petroleum students by

    organizing HR-Meet at M.I.T.

    10. Stock verification and furniture verification work for various departments in M.I.T Pune.

    1. Presented paper on Process Intensification in upstream, midstream and downstream of oiland gas sector in EXTATIC 2K11, National level technical paper presentation at Bharati

    vidyapeeth college of Engineering, Navi Mumbai.

    2. Paper on Production optimization by Plunger assisted intermittent gas lift technology got

    selected at South African International Oil and Gas conference at Cairo, Egypt.

    1. Attended SPE Applied Technology Workshop on Artificial Lift: Reality and Possibilites as SPE

    Continuing Education program at Ahmedabad.

    3. Attended Annual Industry- Institute Interaction Programme09 SPE.

    4. Attended Workshop on EOR/ IOR Techniques and innovation in OIL India by T.G Kulkarni, at

    M.I.T .

    5. Attended summer school organized by Petrotech and Indian oil Corporation Limited, 6 th Summer

    school on Petroleum Refining and Petrochemical at Indian oil Institute of Petroleum

    Management, Gurgaon.

    6. Attended Workshop organized by Petrofed and LNG Dahej, A-Z of Natural Gas at LNG Dahej

    Terminal, Gujarat.

    7. Attended seminar organized by Petrotech & ONGC, Second Seminar on Drilling Technology

    conducted at IDT ONGC, Dehradun.

    1. Worked on Optimizing production in intermittent gas lift 5 wells for Kalol field Ahmedabad

    Asset, ONGC.

    2. Worked on Gas lift injection gas optimization with Weatherford EP- solutions India.

    3. Worked on Plunger assisted gas lift for enhancing oil production.

    4. Working on Characterizing Gas lift instabilities for ONGC Ahmedabad Asset.
