LESSON PLAN - PET
LESSON 1
1. Present the test (parts, duration, level, marking), the classes, the book and the mocks.
2. Explain the first part of the speaking test and have students ask some questions to each other. Review thealphabet, making sure everybody can spell their second names and surnames. Make them spell some words and
focus on the hardest letters:

Have the students choose pictures and describe them to one another.

because I believe he/she/they are
3. Introduce Reading Part 1 using the exercises in the extra book, which the students have to do in pairs. Correct
with the whole class and then have them do one complete exercise of this part individually. Correct by indicating
what they did wrong and asking them to redo these ones.
4. Grammar: Suggestions.
- Explain on the board.
- Practice orally, in pairs, using the photographs.
- Do the exercises in the Extra Book.
5. Have a listening marathonof Parts 1 and 2, using the extra book.
6. Practice Speaking Part 4. Provide feedback.
7. Explain the Writing Part 2 and give some good examples. Ask students to write their own texts and correct
individually, providing feedback. It can be assigned as homework.
