Embedding Enterprise case study 1: Talking the Talk

• Optional Level 2 module

• Intensive week during Easter

• Based around making a short science documentary

• All designed and taught in collaboration with APS alumni industry professionals

• What the students get: • Application of their biological knowledge in a different way

• Teaching in science communication including pitching

• Workshops on using equipment and editing software (relevant to

industry standards)

• Working to an authentic brief

• Managing logistics, health and safety, facilitation with collaborators

• Portfolio material online for future applications

• Experience of working in a team in an intensive environment in specific

roles
