Handbook Overview

Everyone should have received a digital copy!

The purpose of this session is to highlight some of the main ideas!

Attendance

Attendance Staff goal is 95% Student goal is 95% Absence from Duty Form Planning Time

Sub Folders/Plans Teachers must provide subs plans Friday before Please have your sub plans in your lesson plan

Duty Time

Teacher Report Time 7:35 – 4:20 Monday-

Thursday7:45 – 3:15 Friday

Teacher Duty Time 7:35 – 7:45 Monday-

Communication

Check your Mail Boxes at least 2 times a day Snail Mail (no kids allowed) Email

Parent Communication

Cell Phones Not allowed during instructional periods or

passing times. Student use of phones/Ipods etc..

Hallways and Passing Times

Passing periods are now4 minutes

Teachers are expected to actively monitor students during that time

Hall Passes No Groups!!

Grading Policy

Weights have not changed Level 1 (homework) Level 2 (class work) Level 3 (lab activities quizzes and test) Level 4 (test, projects, performance

assessment)

At least 1 grade a week must be recorded for each student

Assignments must be graded within 7 calendar days
