We tentatively opened the door last Monday and were overwhelmed with the number of friends - new and old – who popped in to wish us well. Its was positively buzzing. Cake, tea and conversation has been flowing nicely ever since. People have commented on how beautiful they think the shop looks and how much they enjoy the friendly, communal atmos- phere. Paula will be showing you a

way of making a magical pop-

up pocket to put a gift card in,

the design is based on a vintage

toy.

• Shabby Tissue Pouch: This

cute tissue pouch turns one of

those scruffy miniature packs

of tissues we all carry in the

bottom of our bags into a very

useful and beautiful work of

art.

Paula will guide you through

making two fantastic little pro-

jects that you can either give as

gifts or to keep for yourself!

She will provide every-

thing you need, in a choice

of different fabrics in both

the sweet Shabby Chic

style, and in the more tra-

ditional Vintage creams

and whites. You can use

themed workshops hosted by

our crafty friend with the

nimble fingers Paula

MacGregor.

Workshops 1-4 will be held

in the Blue Room on the first

floor @ £15 each for a three

hour worshop (to include

materials, we are also happy

to include ‘help yourself’ tea

or coffee and biscuits).

through some delicious and

decidedly different

decorations. to decorate your

home this Christmas.

Paula has a host of tree and

wall decorations to share

These unusual vintage style cones can be packed with

goodies and given as a gift, or hung from your fireplace for

a Victorian inspired look. Using a variety of fabrics, vin-

tage papers, photographs, buttons, lace, ribbons, charms,

beads and flowers, Paula will help you to concoct cute

cones – in either the sweet Shabby Chic style, or in the

more traditional Vintage creams and whites.

Get in the Christmas spirit with this final

workshop in the Christmas series. Initial re-

sponse has been so encouraging that we have

organized two sittings to hopefully avoid

disappointing anyone. Held outside in our

decked garden, so wrap up warmly.

We will be serving mince pies and hot

chocolate to keep you warm while you work

on your wreath. Paula’s bringing her wood

burner to help keep you nice and toastie too.
