Category 7A Copper Cabling SolutionTE Connectivity Category 7A S/FTP cables 4 Pair Shielded 1200 MHz PiMF (Pairs in Metal Foil). It exceeds by far all requirements of the last revision according to ISO/IEC 11801:2002 Class D to FA, EN 50288-4-1, EN 50173-1, E-DIN 44312-5, TIA/EIA-568- B.2-1 and B.2-10 Category 6A, 7 and 7A, IEC 61156-5. The TE Connectivity Category 7A, the individual pair shield (PiMF) and the overall braid screen ensure a perfect shield performance over the entire transmission range. Excellent cable for EMI critical environment. It was tested with regard to all EMI and EMC requirements according to EN 55022 / EN 55024 and suppression of Alien NEXT is achieved through high coupling attenuation.

The highly pure electrolytic copper (99.9%) of conductors provides a low attenuation. The low skew construction improves the transmission of Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet signals (IEEE802.3an) Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-Tx), 10/100BASE-Tx, token ring, 155 Mbps ATM, 100 Mbps, TPPMD,TP DDI, ISDN, analog and digital voice (VoIP) Token Ring(4/16MBits/s).

Twisted - Pair Cable Jacket Rate CM, CMR, LSZHUL stands for "Underwriters Laboratory". It tests electrical components and equipment for potential hazards. When something is UL-listed, that means that the UL has tested the device, and it meets their requirements for safety.

CM (Communication Metallic) defines CM grade cable for general purpose such as patch cord and horizontal wiring in the same floor (not in riser or plenum application).

CMR (Communication Metallic Riser) defines the CMR grade cable for riser applcation, wiring across floor in the vertical shaft, the flame occurs on one oor will not spread to the next upper floor.

LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) defines the LSZH grade cable for plenum application or can be wired in the plenum directly without conduit.

The objective of LSZH cable is to limit the spread of flame, limit the halogen gas and generate minimum smoke such that fire victim and fire extinguisher can see every part of the building, such as, fire exit for evacuation and switch board for electricity cut-out.
