Tokyo, Oct 29 The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today addressed the 'Make in India: India-Japan partnership in Africa and digital partnership' seminar, in Tokyo. The Prime Minister explained how the Union Government is focused on improving ease of doing business, and ease of living for the citizens. He expressed happiness at the large presence of Japanese companies in India. The Director of Transport, Dr. Navlendra Kumar Singh flagged off the Night Bus Service from the Mohanpura, Bus Terminus, Port Blair today. The Bus is scheduled to depart from Diglipur at 11 pm on Oct. 30. This service will enable the passengers of North & Middle Andaman District reach Port Blair in the morning and after completing their small assignments, they can take the bus for Diglipur at 12 noon on the same day to reach there by 10 pm. The Transport Director has lauded the efforts made by Shri Sekhar, Assistant Engineer (Workshop) and his team as well as the Traffic Section, for working towards making the bus suitable for the trip and successfully starting the Night Bus Service for the benefit of the commuters, despite scarcity of buses with the Department. These Maps have been uploaded on the website of the Administration: www.and.nic.in and https:/ /southandaman.nic.in. While submitting suggestions & comments on these Maps, provisions of IPZ Notification, 2011 may be referred to. In two weeks’ time, Mary Kom

will be competing in her seventh

World Boxing Championships

here and vying for her sixth gold

medal. The Manipuri, whose

international success started with

a silver medal in Pennsylvania,

US in 2001, when the women’s

world championships were

organised for the first time, has

become a path-breaker in her

sport.

Mary Kom, then a fearless 18-

year-old, is now an Olympic

medallist, a parliamentarian,

mother of twins and an icon at

35. She vaguely recollects her

first World Championship medal;

in fact her first of the five gold

medals in Antalya in 2002 is more

vivid in her memory.

But then Mary Kom has not

given herself the luxury to look

back and preen over her
