Circus Fun

At the Ararat Circus this year, it was time to cook up something different for fun. We used the same idea as when you cook at home, but as different

ingredients, we used laughter, song and humans for the final results.

As we started, we used a large container, yes, the In-dependence Events Center. For our cooking ingredients we added a clown named “Hands”, during one show we added special guests, two Kansas City Chiefs Cheer-leaders and Kansas City Chiefs KC Wolf. Slowly stir in the Ararat Bear. Still missing something in the mix, we sprinkled in a little music, Ararat Dixieland Band Bass man “Wayne Spencer P.P.” to keep a good solid beat. Then we added the Ararat Dixieland Band “Banjo man” for a little swing beat and singing.

The ingredients were all in the mix, so we scrambled it up.

Now to get the audience as they entered the arena to join in the fun of dancing and singing with the perform-ers. This was a simple task for the large crowds of forty or more kids and adults all clapping their hands, stomping their feet and singing “IF YOUR HAPPY AND YOU KNOW IT CLAP YOUR HANDS - etc!!!! Enthusiastic Ararat Divan lady clowns joined in the fun of dancing and sing-ing.

The song only took a minute; we played the same song twelve times every fifteen minutes for over one hour, always different kids and adults. However, some kids came back to do the song again.

The Greeters at the front door also learned the song, as they clapped their hands, stomped their feet, and welcomed enthusiastic children and parents to the circus.

Now , if you are “Happy and you know it” clap your hands and stomp your feet.

News From Your Potentate Greetings,The years have flown by and my journey is completed. What a

great learning experience it has been. I met so many people and made many new friends.

I learned what a great group of Shriners and ladies belong to Ara-rat Shrine, all of them are very proud to belong to the world’s greatest fraternity, supporting the world’s greatest philanthropy, the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Another thing that I have learned is that Shriners get things done, if you ask, they all will make it work somehow, some way, every time!

In my time, we have faced some very difficult issues, but by working together, all of them have passed. The future of the Shrine is great; don’t let anyone tell you anything different.

Keep approaching everything in our Shrine lives with a positive attitude, and love and we, will never fail.

As I move on in my journey, I very much look forward to our future. Changes will and must happen and that’s okay because WE ARE THE SHRINE!! And we get things done.

Thank you for all your support. One thing I can say for sure …. I’m PROUD TO BE AN “ARARAT SHRINER!!” I wish each of you peace and love.Thank you again. So “ Let’s roll with it”

Best Regards,Randy Berry Ararat Shrine

Nobles, please make a change to your calendar. The 2018 February Temple meeting will be on the first Wednesday of the month, February the 7th. If your Unit or Club meets on the first Wednesday, please come to the Temple Meeting. The second Wednesday is on Valen-

tine’s Day and the Greeters will be having a Valentine’s Dinner (open to all; cost and details to follow) so let’s treat our ladies to a wonderful time and dinner. SEE YOU THERE.

Fraternally Yours,Potentate ElectNoble Henry McDaniel Jr.

Nobles, All Fezzes must be paid in full at the time of pick up.

Officers Seminar / InstallationNOBLES, The 2018 Officers Seminar / Installation and Gavel Presentation will be on Janu-

ary the 13th at 9:30am, in the Grand Ballroom (rooms A&B ). The Seminar is for the Divan, Officers of the Units and Clubs, Plus Committee Chairmen, but any Noble is invited to come. We will have Noble Henry’s Famous Chili (2017 Provost Chili Contest Winner) for one dollar and one dollar Draws after the Seminar with cash bar. Don’t miss the Seminar, as we have a lot to go over for 2018! Remember in 2018, let’s have fun with a purpose!

Steering Committee Notes

Illustrious Sir Randy Berry and the Divan appointed a steering committee to evaluate our op-tions and help develop a path forward for Ararat following a Town Hall meeting held earlier in the year. Appointed to the committee are: Past Potentate Kermit Bright, Noble Bill Esry, Noble

Aaron Habben, Past Potentate John Hay, Noble Jeff Quibell, and Noble Wes Wingfield. The com-mittee has met several times and has surveyed a number of members of Ararat on the future of Ara-rat Shriners and our facilities. We also met with the Realtor hired by the Board of Directors. His task was to market the current facilities for potential sale. After reviewing the survey responses and as well as temple financial reports, membership records, maintenance needs, informal discus-sions with some members of the Nobility and other records we have identified possible paths for our facilities. We see these as our options:

• Maintain the status quo and remain in our current facilities and location • Purchase an existing building at another location• Purchase land and build a new right-size facility in a new location• Sell or lease a portion of our current facilities and remain in smaller footprintThe committee will thoroughly investigate each of these options; analyzing financial, physi-

cal and fraternal needs. As we progress in our efforts we will continue to communicate our find-ings and progress to the Divan and to the Nobility of Ararat Shriners. The Imperial Bylaws of Shriners International dictate a specific process for any relocation of any Shrine Center and those rules will be included in all evaluations of our options. Ultimately, any final recommendations will be presented to the Nobility for their consideration and vote.

If you have any comments on this process, please address them to “Ararat Steering Commit-tee, Attention John Hay, P.P., Recording Secretary” and deliver or mail them to the Temple office at 5100 Ararat Drive, Kansas City, MO 64129. You may also email them to [email protected]. Please include your name and contact information so that we may contact you with any ques-tions. Thank you for your support and thoughts.

BLUE SPRINGS SHRINE CLUBBy Fred Harle, P.P.

They always say, “April Showers BringMay Flowers.” Well, here it is April 10th,haven’t seen much rain here in our greatcity of Blue Springs, MO, but you knowwhat, if you are like me those May flowersare already starting to bloom. You knowthe kind I’m talking about, those pretty lit-tle yellow flowers that we spend a smallfortune trying to eliminate from our yardevery year. Yep, they are called dande-lions. If you don’t have any I’ll be morethan happy to bring you some of the onesfrom my front yard. That is just before Itry to get rid of them.

Today Jennie’s brother Kenny and hisLady Emma who live in Warrensburg, MOdrove up to see us. We met at Bob Evan’sRestaurant in Lee’s Summit, after whichall four of us visited the Swap Meet. Wow,what a super extravaganza. An even big-ger surprise was to be greeted by Ill. SirKevin Sleyster and being chauffeured byour Recorder, Mike Wheeler. Upon enter-ing the rear gate we were greeted by thehardest working Shriner I know , NobleMac McWilliams. Try and keep up withthis Noble and you’ll find it’ s impossible. Thanks Mac for all that you do for Ararat.

Let me tell you about our March BSSCmeeting. To begin with, our meetings withNoble Bill Fickle at the helm just get bet-ter and better . Following the usual open -ing ceremonies for our Shrine Club, we getdown to the business of trying to catch thefatted calf so to speak. See picture of ourDivan Liaison Officer, 2nd CeremonialMaster Clarence Kirby followed by alegion of hungry Shriners. We also treatour ladies okay . Please note picture withladies, Carol Newport, Vivian Snell,Marguerite Merryman, and Pat Stansell.

Thank you ladies for continuing to shareBSSC with all the rest of us.

Our President, Bill Fickle arranged aspectacular program for our entertainment.Jordan Mitchell, a member of DeMolay, presented a Ceremony of Life in full form.Wow, super impressive, you could hear apin drop. What a treat to see and hear sucha talented young man.

We treat our dignitaries with respect, and it’s always a pleasure to put out the oldBSSC welcome mat for any and all templeofficers. Please don’t wait for a specialinvite. The door is always open and wewant you to come and join us. See photoof President Bill Fickle, 2nd CeremonialMaster Clarence Kirby, and AmbassadorBud Higginbotham.

Our good buddy Noble Lou Sohn hadsome stents inserted close to his heart andhe is progressing great. He heard aboutPast President Bill Clinton doing okaywith his so he got some.

Last, but also a very important part ofour BSSC team is Noble James Gar gotta. He puts together our club newsletter , sec-ond to none, that keeps all our membersinformed about what’s going to happen, and what has happened. Not only aboutanything and everything in and about ourclub, but other clubs, uniformed units, andour temple in general. If you don’t believeit come see for yourself! BSSC meets onthe 4th Monday night of each month at6:30 pm in the American Legion Buildingon 7 Hwy in Blue Springs, MO. Call us,we’ll tell you how to get here.

That’s enough for this time! So untilnext time, a hug doesn’ t cost anything togive or get. Think about it!!!!!!

Well, here we are in the month of May, which meansthe parade season has started. Hope that everyone hada good time at Missouri City and Richmond.

Let’s go back a couple of months for a minute. InMarch, Noble Art Kinder brought his grandson to O.B.rehearsal. We all got to meet him and made him welcome. He really seemed to enjoy watching his granddad play, however I think that might have made Art a little nervous.Art had said before we got started that his grandsonwas here visiting from Canada. It seemed to me that wemight have a future Master Mason in the works.

On a sad note, that month we also lost our last char-ter member of the O.B., Noble Loren Lundy. Hepassed away at the young age of 100, a milestonewhich he turned last August. All our prayers and goodwishes go out to the rest of his family. He was oneNoble that stood out above the rest in every way possible. He is truly missed.

Next we have a little bit about the O.B. SpringDance. It may not have been the best turnout we haveever had, but President Waco still did an outstandingjob. He made sure that those who did make it reallyhad a good time; so, “Hats off and job well done,” toour President. And let’s not forget our ladies for having the Silent Action in the back of Bennett; “A

GREATBIG THANK YOU,” from President Wacoand the rest of us as well.

Now how about the month of April? Hmmmm, let’ssee! It was reported that our President Waco, who alsoplays the bass drum, is very versatile. He can scratchhis back with one hand and continue to play well withthe other. Who knew?

On another note, the O.B. would like to welcomeback Noble Don Lanning. He took a trip to Englandfor a little while but had to come back because he didnot have a visa to be able to stay longer. He said that hewas having a great time over there with his wife, andgot to go and see his son as well. So all in all the tripmay have been short but the time was well spent.

Just to touch a little bit on the Swap Meet, the O.B.had a pretty good turnout to help in all areas from thepop wagon to picking up trash. President Waco wouldjust like to say, “THANKS GUYS.” He couldn't havedone it without us. Saturday was the best day. It wascrowded but we all managed to make it through.Sunday was not as busy, but still a pretty good turnout. So from the nobles of the Oriental Band to all of thenobles that were able to make it, GREATJOB! Hopeto see you in the fall for the next one.

Til then, be safe.

ARARAT’S OWN COUNTRY CLASSICS By Jeff Davis, Scribe

There’s an old Vince Gill song titled, “Look at Us.”I think that fits as a pretty good theme for this month.“LOOK AT US”!!!!!! We’re going to be very busy allaround the jurisdiction.

First, we will be playing at the Abdallah Shrine’sRodeo Kick-off Party on May 1. This is a great party andthey have a wonderful time and have been very good tous as a band. We enjoy playing for them every year.

We will be at Ararat on the 15th playing for the

Ceremonial. This is a fundraiser for the Temple socome on out, enjoy some good music and help theTemple with your donations.

And, of course, we love playing at the WarsawShrine Club’s pre parade party on June 4th. We have asmuch fun as they do and really enjoy playing for all ofthe Ladies and Nobles.

That should bring things up to date. Til nextmonth……..

MEMBERSHIP MATTERSBY NOBLE MARC HOEFER, MEMBERSHIP CHAIRMAN

Legion of Honor Club **New Meeting Time / Location**

Join us the first Tuesday of each month for our LOH Club Meeting. Starting Time: 6:00 p.m. Location: SidePockets Blue Springs MO, Meals Available for $5.00.

We will have a meeting and then following the meeting we will have access to pool tables for our enjoyment. Your Ladies are also welcome to attend.

If you have questions call Jonathan Preslar at (910) 987-0711 or Jim Gargotta at (913) 645-4760.

Membership is all of our responsibility. We each owe it to one another to find new Nobles. I took this to heart when I agreed to be on the Membership Committee. I know that with-out growing the organization we will just flat lose out on sufficient funds to operate on.

Consequently, I carry materials readily available from the Membership Committee to share with a potential candidate. We can give you petitions, promotional and informational pieces, for potential nobles to read. Likewise, we maintain a website as most of you know. When a person has a question about the Shrine, especially when showing interest in joining, I’m putting on my recruiter shoes and offering my business card, home phone number, and inviting that person to call if they have questions I can answer.

That’s what I did just this last Saturday when I came across one of our members talking to a potential recruit. I walked off and left the hopeful candidate with my Brother and went on about my business. Imagine my surprise, when a little while later, I was told by my Brother that, “I don’t care if you’re on the Membership Committee or not, poaching a candidate isn’t cool.” I was surprised, and chose not to respond so as to avoid having a conflict in front of other members and non-members alike who were present in the restaurant. Frankly, being the outdoorsman that I am ‘poaching’ is a word to which I take great offense.

After I got home I cooled off and thought about it, I decided we need to make a clear state-ment about the Membership Committees activity.

1. We need everyone’s help getting this very big job done. We all share the responsibility and just because there is a Membership Committee that doesn’t mean you can just leave it to us and not worry about growing our organization.

2. We aren’t out to ‘poach’ candidates; quite the opposite. If we can help with printed materials, hosting events at your mother Lodge, or just be available to answer questions we’d love to do it.

3. We need your ideas about what and where we can promote membership in the Shrine. Is there a group or activity where you think potential candidates exist, let us know.

4. Help us man a recruiting booth. Whether it’s an outside activity at our temple, at the circus, on parade or festival days, pitch in to volunteer to brag about your Shrine. There aren’t enough of us in the membership committee to cover every potential activity where a booth would make sense.

Working together we can grow our Shrine to do ever more good for the kids in our hospital. I AM-Are You?

Visitors can become a part of the Richard Petty Driving Experience, and race around the Speedway in an authentic NASCAR stock car, either riding alongside a professional driver, or taking a turn in the driver’s seat.

Daytona Beach offers so much to see, do and experience. While you’re visiting, discover the area’s rich history by exploring its many parks, natural preserves and historic sites; climb to the top of the tallest lighthouse in Florida, the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse and Museum; bring your clubs to any of the first-rate Daytona Beach golf courses; or take advantage of the many scenic cruising opportunities for motorcyclists, motorists and bicyclists alike.

Plan Now to Attend Shriners International’s Most Important Event of the YearThe 2018 Shriners International Imperial Session will again be held at Daytona Beach’s Ocean Center, a state-of-the-art convention center and entertainment complex that features more than 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibit and meeting space. The Ocean Center is located right across the street from the Atlantic Ocean, and is a favorite among meeting planners with its extraordinary design and features, and recent $82 million expansion.

Shriners International invites all nobles, ladies and their families to join us for the 144th Imperial Session in Daytona Beach. With everything the city has to offer – incredible beaches, great weather, the Daytona International Speedway, outstanding dining and shopping, and so much more – it’s easy to see why the city is one of America’s favorite destinations.

Imperial Sirs Gary J. Bergenske and Jim L. Cain Sr. and the 2018 Imperial Session Committee members look forward to welcoming our Shriners family to Daytona Beach once again.

RAKLA SHRINE CLUBBy Ernie Taylor, Scribe

We finally had great weather for ourmeeting in April: no rain, no snow, no 20degrees and windy! Not that the weatherhad ever discouraged our members. Wehad the same great turnout, be the weath-er good or not so good!

Dignitaries attending this month wereLiaison Officer Dave Bushakra and LadyMolly, and Ambassador Curt Karnes andLady Sue. These two couples truly repre-sent good works and good fellowship forthe Shrine and we look forward eachmonth to seeing them.

We were happy to welcome back Daveand Nora Hutchison. They brought backa “truckload” of fish and invited us to theirhomefor the June meeting and a fish fry!

Dave, incidentally, won the 50/50 draw-ing, but that was in no way connected tothe invitation. We would never use anysort of bribery to get Dave and Nora to fixfish for us!

Our guest speaker was Sally Nance,Administrator for the Excelsior SpringsHospital. She gave us a brief history onthe hospital and all the improvementsthey have made, and the new independentliving center completed recently.

Our May meeting will be held again atCatricks Café in Lawson. Tell yourMasonic friends what fun and fellowshipwe have, and bring someone with you tothe next meeting.

Jackson County Shrine ClubBY KENNETH R NELSON JR. JCSC SECRETARY

Well the Holiday season is in full swing now, all the clubs and units are holding their parties here and there. Jackson County had theirs at their club and we had a good turn out and a lot of fun. I want to take this time to thank Noble Larry Wallace for all of his hard work in preparing the meal for us.

At this time all the clubs and units should be done with their election of officers, Jackson County had their election last month, and I hope that everyone helps me in

congratulating all of the officers that had been elected here at JCSC. The new officers for 2018 are as follows: President, Noble Larry Wallace. 1st Vice

President, Noble Doug Jones. 2nd Vice President, Noble Will Rust will hold the office for another year. Secretary, Noble William McPherson. Treasurer, William Boynton was re elected for another term. And Sgt at Arms, Noble Don Bradley will hold that seat for a second term. I would like to wish good luck in the new year to all of the officers. I also need to re-mind them that the officer’s seminar will be on January 13, 2018. I am sure that the time will be posted on the buzz, so keep an eye out for that.

A reminder to all the members of Jackson County Shrine Club, your dues are due, and to pay your dues, you need to make sure that your Blue Lodge and Temple dues are paid, you

will need to show that you have paid them before you pay your club dues. For those Nobles that do not have a Club or Unit that they belong to, I wish to extend an invitation to come and check

us out. We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7 pm. If you would like to join the club, please be at the January 23rd meeting. Our initiation fee is $25.00, and our yearly dues are $25.00, you will need to bring those if you would like to join the club. Just a footnote, we ride little yellow mini bikes in the parades, and we have a blast. We also have other functions all year long that you can participate in. And to you BBQ teams, you might start thinking about getting ready for the “Old Timers” BBQ contest that will be in August. We would also like to extend an invitation to everyone to join us at the Club for our annual Easter Breakfast, and of all the days for it to fall on, Easter is on April Fools day, April 1st. So come and enjoy a good breakfast with the club.

That will do it for now, hope to see some new faces at JCSC.

Well, here it is already 2018, it is with pleasure that I look forward to greet-ing each of our members. We live in

a very busy time, and I welcome the opportunity to say hello and update you on the news in our club. Once again this last year has gone by so fast, it doesn’t seem possible. All of the officers have done a wonderful job. We are very proud of them for their service to our club. Everyone has worked hard and supported the Shriner’s Hospi-tals, and Ararat Shrine activities.

John White, the Christmas chairman, did a spectacular job, we had 31 at the Brunch at Ophe-lia’s on the square in Independence. Such a won-derful time, John got each of the ladies a great smelling candle from Bed Bath and Beyond. We also had several drawings for gifts and gift cards. Great time, great food. 1st Ceremonial Master Don Fowler and his lovely wife Mary attended, Mary was in awe of all the great food, also in attendance were Ambassador Terry Daugherty and his lovely wife Gina, they seemed to have a grand time. Next year’s Christmas party will be at the same place on December 2nd 2018. Our Christmas Chairman already got our reservations secured. So mark your Calendars. There will not be a business meeting in December; the next meeting will be January 22, 2018. We have a second reading for a new member, Ken Holstrom, and he has a 1930 Ford. The January social will be on the 9th at Summit Hickory Pit, 1012 SE Blue Pkwy Lee’s Summit, MO This is a casual place with Brick pit smoked meats and classic sides. Hope to see you there. Oh before I forget, get your dues paid if you haven’t already.

President Doug Fields called and expressed his gratitude for all who came to the brunch, he and his whole family wishes each and everyone to have a Great New Year. It sure was nice to see Georganna, looking as pretty as ever, she had just gotten out of the hospital the day before.

We all want to thank Doug Fields, John Ropcke , Lew Kitson and Mac McWilliams for all their hard work at the Circus this year. If you have not ever worked at the Circus, plan on do-ing it this next year, it is very rewarding and very much appreciated.

We are now preparing for a new year. Please let us hear from you. We are interested in how you are doing. The club meets on the 4th Monday evening at 7:00 PM and we would love to have you join us if your are able. If you are un-able please let us know that also. Keep the Presi-dent Doug Fields informed about any illnesses so that we can publish it and everyone can include them in their thoughts and prayers.

As we begin a new year, may we reflect upon the Masonic teachings and apply them to our daily lives.

Be well, stay safe and SMILE (it makes your face feel better) “you do not stop laughing when you die, you die when you stop laughing!!’

May you have a blessed holiday season and may the new year bring you great peace and hap-piness.

Blue Springs Shrine ClubBY NOBLE JAMES GARGOTTA

It’s 2018 and the Blue Springs Shrine Club is ready to have another fun year. We want to thank Noble Tony & Lady Toni Kenna for leading our club for the past two years. Now it time for Noble Aaron & Lady Sara Habben to lead our club for the next two years. I know he and Sara

will do a great job for us. On December 17th, we had our Christmas Party and we had a great turn out. The food was

great, as always, and the gift exchange was fun. Everyone had a great time. We want to thank our special guests , Potentate Henry McDaniel and our Past Potentate Randy Berry , along with our Chief Rabben Butch Pugh and Lady Connie for attending.

If you would like to join us, our next meeting is January 22nd. Social time starts at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. To join us at our meeting and to R.S.V.P. go to our website at www.bluespringsshrineclub.org or call Lady Gail Gargotta, 816-228-2401. We meet at the Blue Springs Elk’s Lodge #2509. We need to have a count for our dinner reservations.

Lafayette County Shrine Club BY RON ELLING, SCRIBE

The Lafayette County Shrine Club meeting was held on December 14TH at the Hig-ginsville Masonic Lodge. W.N. Gray led

the blessing of the meal which included turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked ham, green bean casserole, cheesy broccoli and rice, French bread and an assortment of des-serts prepared by members of the Higginsville Masonic Lodge.

President Delmar Dothage welcomed Li-aison Officer Dave Hutton, Assistant Director Curt Karnes and his Lady Susan, Ambassa-dor Alvin Kallenberger and his Lady Louise, President of the Richmond Shrine Club Deon Williams, and Nobles and their Ladies of the Lafayette County Shrine Club. The cooks, including members of the Higginsville Ma-sonic Lodge, were thanked for the wonderful meal!President Dothage presided at the meet-ing. Deon Williams made a presentation to Sharon Dothage for her help with the roasted pecans at the Circus, Louise Shaw was recog-nized at another event.

Ambassador Kallenberger shared up-coming event information from Ararat Tem-ple. Dates in January include the Temple meet-ing on January 10 and the officer training on January 13.

Liaison Officer Dave Hutton presented Tim Rechterman with his 32 and 33 Crown Jewels.

Liaison Officer Hutton reported on the Ar-arat Shrine Building, nothing has been decided on what to do about the building.

Following the meeting, those that had made candy and cookies for the annual Chinese gift exchange got in on the fun. The hot items this year seemed to be the sled with a variety of cookies and candy, the cheese balls, the sleigh, and a basket of summer sausage and cheese that got stolen several times.

Interesting InformationBY NOBLE GARY DAVIS

I am always trying to come up with Interesting Information to pass along to New Nobles and others that would be something they did not learn when they came into the Ararat Shrine. But it gets harder each month to come up with something new. So for 2018 I have decided to do

something different for ALL Nobles, from the Potentate to the Newest Noble, to read. I recently found out that the Temple keeps books of past Newsletters from 1940 to 1998 in hardback books. After 1998 they are in electronic form. But what was interesting to me in reading from the 1964 1965 book was not so much the articles the clubs and units wrote, but the Ads that were in the Newsletter. So for the next year I will be reprinting ads that I like and IF you want to look at some of these books yourself, they are available from “Linda at the Window” during business hours. Books cannot leave the Temple, so you will have to look at them here. I think all Nobles would find them Very Interesting!!

For January’s Newsletter I found this ad for Walt Disney’s MARY POPPINS at the UPTOWN THEATER, 3700 Broadway, Kansas City MO 64111Note the Show Prices in 1965!! Kind of COOL UH?? More to come in February……..

Daughters of the Nile

On November 9, El Maát Temple No. 120, Daughters of the Nile, welcomed Supreme Queen Karen L. Keuther of New York to Kansas City, Queen Pattie A. Underwood presiding.

Following the daughters only session, Noble Roger Salyer oversaw an exemplification of the DeMolay Ceremony of Light – for those who are unfamiliar; it is an impressive ceremony conveying a message of the power of one. A banquet was held that evening with greetings brought by the Abdallah Potentate Illustrious Sir Jeff Johnson and fea-tured an address made by the Supreme Queen regarding her travels es-pecially to the various hospitals and the children she has met and been inspired by along the way. The Daughters of the Nile contributes over $3 million in cash and in kind annually to support the hospitals. A lady age 18 or older who is related to a Shriner, Master Mason, is a majority member in good standing of a Masonic related youth organi-zation or a former patient at a Shriner’s Hospital for Children ® are eligible for membership. We would be happy to accept recommenda-tions for candidates.
