CARE OF THE HANDS.

The most important factor is personal cleanliness.

Barrier cream appropriate to the exposure should be used, if gloves cannot be worn.

Gloves should be worn to protect the Hands when handling Chemicals, rough or sharp material and hot work-pieces, but not on drilling machines.

Cuts or punctures can turn septic - get First-Aid as soon as possible.

Dont forget to change soiled dressings on wounds as often as you can.

Rings on fingers can be very dangerous, at work.

Use safeguards installed or provided.

Wash before eating - there may be harmful chemicals on your hands.

Never use solvents to remove oil or other materials from your hands.

Do not use a pumice stone or abrasives for hand cleaning.

At the end of the day or shift wash your hands with warm water and soap, or cleaning cream and dry thoroughly.

Dont forget that clean habits help prevent diseases.
